Hi5 & Hi5ers
All of us sure did notice the new extreme attention paid to the Hi5 site. Amazing how you can flip from one account to another, spotting different types of people from all over the world. Sometimes I literally crack up laughing at some profiles, or comments sent by weird people.Interesting how it also became one way for new acquaintances! As far as I remember, meeting online was never an option for people in Jordan or in Amman to be precise. I never heard that much of people meeting online, or if they did, they feel ashamed of mentioning it to others around them. However, I can see that this border was stepped out by the Hi5 site and its main goal of meeting new friends online. It started off as adding old friends you've lost trace of, or that distances made it somehow hard. Then slowly it became a main way of getting to talk to "someone you liked his/her looks" or "someone you've heard a lot about" or even "an old friend who you didn’t talk to for quite a time".
Now of course, let us not forget that it is in some people's blood to abuse the usage of things. Some people actually have turned their profiles into live pornography sites. Somehow, some people didn't stop at that point, but they started annoying others with disgusting dirty comments that is just way too perverted to be sent to anonymous people in general! Not to forget that pictures from profiles can be easily "copied pasted" just by right-clicking your mouse! This should honestly be a main concern for whoever publish their photos up there (Including myself =) )
Another note! Some people are actually making up people and profiles! Personally I find them hilarious! For example, check this out:

Hi5 is okay and not that bad! It just needs … well actually IT doesn’t need, WE need to behave ourselves more and try not to abuse anything that can be fun and entertaining.

i'm a member of HI5 myself and i mention almost every day those who send messages and friend requests that are very funny and their tales to my friends, hehe
